Open Access Policy
Gold Open Access | CC BY 4.0 | No Article Processing Charge
Subulana operates under a Gold Open Access model. All articles published in the journal are made freely and permanently accessible online immediately upon publication, without subscription fees, registration barriers, or any other access restrictions. The journal does not charge readers or their institutions for access to its content.
The journal's open access policy is grounded in the conviction that the broad dissemination of research findings accelerates the pace of discovery and maximizes the social return on the investment that goes into scholarly research. This commitment is especially significant in the context of Islamic educational scholarship, where the widest possible readership spanning academic institutions, faith communities, and policymakers across the Global South and beyond stands to benefit from open knowledge exchange.
All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). Under this license, anyone may copy, redistribute, remix, transform, and build upon the published material in any medium or format for any purpose, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original authors, a link to the license is provided, and any changes made are indicated.
Authors retain full copyright over their published work. By submitting to Subulana, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive, worldwide license to publish and distribute their work in all formats and through all channels. The journal does not impose embargo periods, and authors are permitted to deposit their final published articles in institutional repositories, preprint servers, or personal academic websites at any time.
