Focus and Scope

Subulana publishes original scholarly contributions that engage substantively with the theoretical, empirical, and applied dimensions of Islamic education and religious knowledge. The journal welcomes research employing qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods designs, as well as library-based systematic reviews, philosophical analyses, and policy studies.

To be considered for publication, a manuscript must make a clear and original contribution to knowledge and situate its findings within the existing international literature. The journal is particularly interested in research that transcends disciplinary boundaries and addresses questions of broad relevance to scholars, educators, and policymakers in Muslim-majority and pluralistic societies.
