Mafatih Journal of Islamic Studies (MJIS) is a peer-reviewed and open access journal published by Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Tarbiyah Miftahul Ulum Bangkalan. The journal invites original articles on various issues in Islamic studies. The MJIS intends to publish high-standard theoretical or empirical research articles within the scope of Islamic studies and humanities, which include but are not limited to Islamic Thought; Tafsir; Hadith; Islamic Education; Islamic Jurisprudence; Islamic Economic Law; Islamic Family Law; and Islamic History. The MJIS is published twice a year, always placing Islamic studies and humanities as the main focus of academic inquiry. The MJIS, which serves as a forum for the study of Islam in Indonesia and other parts of the world in challenging local and global contexts, supports focused studies on specific themes and interdisciplinary studies. The MJIS has become a medium for the dissemination and exchange of ideas and research findings, so that researchers, writers, and readers from various learning traditions have interacted scientifically. The journal warmly welcomes contributions from scholars from various related disciplines.
