Mafatih Journal of Islamic Studies is a biannual (June and December) peer-reviewed academic journal published by Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Tarbiyah Miftahul Ulum Bangkalan, Indonesia. The focus of this journal is to disseminate academic works on Islam and its diverse dimensions from interdisciplinary perspectives, and to develop scholarly communication at the national and international level among academics and researchers who are interested in Islamic studies.

Scope

Mafatih Journal of Islamic Studies covers a variety of subjects, ranging from eight main topics: (1) the Qur’an and hadith (2) Islamic Law (3) Islamic Theology (Kalam) (4) Islamic Philosophy (5) Islamic Psychology (6) Islamic Mysticism (Tasawwuf) (7) Islamic Education (8) Islamic Communication and Propagation (Dakwa) and (9) Islamic Politics, to modern and contemporary developments including such issues as democracy, gender, and human rights as well as social and cultural practices in the Muslim world and societies.

This journal warmly welcomes contributions from scholars of Islamic studies and related disciplines.
