UPAYA KEPALA MADRASAH DALAM MENINGKATKAN PROFESIONALITAS GURU PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DI MADRASAH ALIYAH AS SYAFIIYAH LOMBANG LAOK BLEGA BANGKALAN

Abstrak

Teacher professionalism needs to be improved in order to achieve madrasa goals which cannot be separated from the role of professional teachers. In this regard, the madrasa head as the head of the institution is a strategic person to make efforts to increase teacher professionalism with the strength of his leadership. This research aims to determine the efforts of madrasah heads in improving teacher professionalism at MA As-Syafiiyah Lomnbang Laok Blega Bangkalan, Opportunities and challenges in improving teacher professionalism at MA As-Syafiiyah Lomnbang Laok Blega Bangkalan, the problem in this research is teacher loyalty, Dana and Teacher Welfare, Teachers Who Don't Understand Learning Tools, Teachers Who Pay Less Attention to Their Obligations. The method used in this research is a qualitative method, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The research subjects were the Head of the Madrasah, and 2 teachers. The results of the research show that: The leadership of the madrasah head in improving the professionalism of teachers at MA As-Syafiiyah Lomnbang Laok Blega Bangkalan is carried out by using democratic leadership, providing training, seminars and training and providing motivation to improve the quality of education and in terms of opportunities, the support of the madrasah head by creating training, training and seminars to improve the quality of education in the madrasah. Meanwhile, the challenges are teacher loyalty, funds and welfare, teachers who don't understand learning tools, teachers who don't pay attention to their obligations.
